Canon PIXMA MP800R Driver Software Download, Manual, Wireless Setup, Scanner Install for Windows, Mac, Linux – Canon PIXMA MP800R Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) uses a next-generation 3,584-nozzle print head that ejects precise, consistent droplets down to 1 picolitre, for smooth, virtually grain-free images. FINE print heads are made using a micro-manufacturing process that allows for precisely aligned, smaller-diameter, high-density nozzles. ChromaLife100 inks are printed with Canon’s FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) print heads. FINE print heads and the wide color gamut of ChromaLife100 dye-based inks combine to deliver prints with exceptional detail and vibrant colors. There are two paper trays – one top-loading sheet feeder at the back, and a tray beneath the printer. It’s a very useful arrangement, as you can load different types of media in separate trays. Paper handling is further enhanced by the built-in duplexer; however, the print speed isn’t. Printing a ten-page document using the duplexer took 4 mins, and 47 secs, reducing the print speed to 2ppm.
“update-star” The AE (Auto Exposure) copy function automatically optimizes reproduction quality based on the type of original you are duplicating. The convenient Photo/Film button lets you make reprints of your photos and 35mm film without using your computer. The unit’s high-resolution CCD scanning technology enables it to produce outstanding 2400 dpi scans, with vibrant 48-bit color depth. You can simultaneously scan up to 6 frames of your 35mm film (negative or positive) or up to 4 mounted slides. For added convenience, the two paper trays let you store photo paper in one and plain paper in the other. The scanner portion of our tests produced good results. We scanned a 6 x 4in print at 600 dpi in just 15 seconds, and a page of plain text took just 7 seconds at 300 dpi using the supplied OmniPage SE software. The sharpness of the images was impressive, although our photos consistently exhibited a red color cast at default settings – a problem easily fixed pre-scan with the driver. Hidden under the scanner’s lid is a second lamp to allow you to scan transparencies and negatives.
