Canon PIXMA MG7520 Driver Software Download, Manual, Wireless Setup, Scanner Install for Windows, Mac, Linux – The Canon Pixma MG7520 all-in-one offers a wide range of features and good print speeds that outperformed its competitors in many of our tests. It also has a great interface, with a large 3.5-inch touchscreen, NFC connectivity, an Ethernet jack, and the ability to print to optical discs. The device is also one of the few sub-$200 printers we’ve reviewed that comes with a dedicated photo black cartridge for better images. With rounded corners and edges that remind us of a small enclosed football stadium, the Canon Pixma MG7520 won’t take up much desk space. When powered on, the device has a dynamic touchscreen LCD and touch-sensitive buttons. There are two small paper trays at the front of the printer, including one for photos. However, the trays don’t hold many sheets of paper and require frequent reloading, a big problem for business users.
“update-star” Paper handling is sparse, but sufficient for light home or home office use, with a 125-sheet capacity for the main tray and a built-in duplexer (for two-sided printing). It also helps you avoid having to change the paper to switch between printing documents and photos, as you do with the Canon MG6620, which is the company’s next step for inkjet all-in-one printers. The MG7520’s dedicated photo tray can hold 20 sheets of 4 x 6-inch photo paper or 10 sheets of 5 x 7-inch paper. Another interesting feature is that it can print on optical discs. Configuring the MG7520 over a network is generally standard, with the slight difference to most printers in that you need to install six ink cartridges, with cyan, yellow, magenta, photo black, pigment black, and gray. The six-color ink system, and gray ink, in particular, allows a printer to handle photos well. It is also, at least in part, responsible for the printer’s high level of photo quality. The output quality is above average overall, with high-level photo quality and text and graphics that are at the top of the range that comprises the vast majority of inkjet MFPs. The text quality is good enough for almost any business use, as long as you don’t have an unusual need for small fonts.
